Sand faced glove manufacturers tell you that labor protection gloves are gloves that have the function of protecting hands and arms, and are used by workers during labor. They are also known as hand protection equipment and are commonly referred to as labor protection gloves or labor protection gloves. Hand protective equipment is divided into twelve categories according to their protective functions, namely general protective gloves, cold resistant gloves, gas resistant gloves, cutting resistant gloves, anti-static gloves, high temperature resistant gloves, vibration resistant gloves, waterproof gloves, X-ray resistant gloves, acid and alkali resistant gloves, oil resistant gloves, and insulated gloves. Each type of glove can be divided into many types according to the material. Common knowledge of using protective gloves:
(1) Firstly, it is necessary to understand the protective effects and usage requirements of different types of gloves, and choose the correct work gloves. Do not use them casually in different work environments. Cotton gloves, synthetic gloves, etc. used as anti vibration gloves have poor effectiveness.
(2) Before using insulated gloves, the appearance should be checked first. If holes, cracks, etc. are found on the surface, use should be stopped.
After using insulated gloves, they should be stored according to relevant regulations to prevent aging and reduce insulation performance. After a period of use, it should be retested and can only be used after passing the inspection. When using, pay attention to the product classification color code, such as red for 1kV gloves, white for 7.5kV gloves, and yellow for 17kV gloves.
(3) When using vibration tools for work, it cannot be assumed that wearing anti vibration gloves is safe. Attention should be paid to arranging a certain amount of time for rest during work. As the vibration frequency of the tool increases, the rest time can be extended accordingly. For various vibration tools used, it is best to measure the vibration acceleration in order to select suitable anti vibration gloves and achieve better protective effects.
(4) When using labor protection gloves, all gloves should be of appropriate size to avoid gloves with fingers that are too long or too short, from being mechanically twisted or rolled up, and from causing hand injuries.
(5) When operating high-speed rotating machinery, anti vibration gloves can be used. When maintaining certain equipment and performing oil injection operations, oil resistant gloves should be used to avoid harm from oil opponents.
(6) Different types of gloves have their specific performance purposes, and in actual work, they must be used and distinguished correctly based on the job situation to protect hand safety. The use of safety gloves must be selected according to the protective function of the gloves. Do not misuse to avoid accidents. Waterproof, acid and alkali resistant, chemical resistant, and oil resistant gloves should be carefully inspected for damage and aging before use. If they are, they cannot be used. Rubber, latex, plastic and other protective gloves should be washed clean, dried, and stored at high temperatures after use. Talc powder should be sprinkled on the products to prevent adhesion. Insulated gloves should be used strictly according to the instructions and their electrical insulation performance should be regularly inspected. If they do not meet the requirements, they cannot be used. Latex industrial gloves are only suitable for weak acids.
